Terminal Modules
PDF Print E-mail

There is no limit to the number of Inputs and Outputs that FaRo can manage. Supporting a large variety of EtherCAT terminal modules, FaRo is ready to receive information from any kind of sensors. Thanks to FaRo's Hardware Wizard, adding and configuring terminals is a matter of minutes. Terminals can be grouped in remote nodes, connected by CAT5 Ethernet cables. Terminal adapters ensure the compatibilty with other BUS standard, like CANopen. FaRo currently supports the following terminals:

  • 2 x channel, up/down counter, 24 V DC, 1 kHz, 16 bit
  • 4 x channel digital output terminal 24 V DC, 0.5 A
  • 4 x channel digital output terminal 24 V DC, 2 A
  • 4 x channel digital output terminal 24 V DC, 2 A, with Diagnostics
  • 4 x channel relay output terminal 125 V AC/30 V DC
  • 8 x channel analog input terminal 0…10 V, single-ended, 12 bits
  • 2 x channel analog input terminal 0…10 V, single-ended, 16 bits
  • 4 x channel analog input terminal 0…10 V, single-ended, 16 bits
  • 2 x channel analog input terminal -10…+10 V, differential input, 16 bits
  • 4 x channel analog input terminal -10…+10 V, differential input, 16 bits
  • 2 x channel analog supply terminal 4…20 mA, single-ended, 16 bits
  • 1 x channel resistor bridge terminal (strain gauge), 16 bits
  • 2 x SSI encoder interfaces
  • 1 x Serial interface RS232
  • 2 x Serial interface RS232
  • 1 x Serial interface RS422/RS485
  • 2 x Serial interface RS422/RS485
  • 1 x CANopen master terminal
  • 4 x Power Supply terminal, regulated 5V and 12V (max 1A each channel)
  • 1 x RS232 to B&G Network Converter
